Super Simple Rainbow Buns!

Really delicious and a SUPER easy recipe 🙂 Definitely give it a go!

It’s a universal truth that students like cake. We certainly can buy a lot of it, but isn’t it nice to sometimes make some of your own? They’re tasty, cheap and are easier that what you think (this isn’t The Great British Bake Off after all). These super simple rainbow buns are great for everyone, the young and the young at heart.

What Will You Need?

125g butter/baking spread

125g caster sugar

2 eggs

125g self-raising flour (or plain flour with a teaspoon of baking powder)

125g coloured sugar coated chocolate beans

How Are They Made?

1. Preheat your oven to 160°C/Gas 3 and put your muffin cases in a muffin/yorkshire pudding tin.


2. Weigh out your sugar first with the baking spread on top, it’ll save sugar and flour from sticking to the scales!
